Day of the Faculty 2026 on 10.07.2026

Hello everyone! On 10.07.2026 our annual faculty party will take place between Georges-Köhler-Allee 51 and Georges-Köhler-Allee 101. There will be vegan steaks and sausages as well as bottled drinks and draught beer from the student council. There will be live-musik too!

Student Survey 2026 – Tell Us What You Think

From 5 May to 30 June 2026 the University of Freiburg is running its university-wide student survey. All ~24,500 enrolled students are invited – you included. The survey asks for your perspective on studies and teaching: what works, what doesn’t, and what should change. New topics this year include the use of artificial intelligence in studies and experiences of discrimination.

Teaching Awards 2024/2025

When registering for lectures, the big, all-important question is: Is the course any good? Is the teaching good or does it make you want to take a nap? Unfortunately, we cannot answer this question definitively. However, with the help of the teaching awards, you can find out which courses clearly are very good. The winners of the teaching awards for the summer semester 2024 and 2024/2025 winter semester are listed below.

There will be wraps from the Simba-Wraps Foodtruck as well as bottled drinks and draught beer from the student council. Our new volleyball net will also be inaugurated.
