Hello everyone,
on Saturday 27.01. a chess tournament will take place from 2 PM in the Kinohörsaal in building 82. Everyone is invited, regardless of whether you are beginners or more experienced players. It is enough to know the rules of chess.
We will play 5 rounds of Rapid 10+5 according to the Swiss system. This system ensures that players at the same level play against each other. We will use mobile phone apps as chess clocks. We recommend the Chess Clock App . If you would like to bring an analogue chess clock, you are also welcome to do so.
Registration: Unlike last time, you will not be required to register this time. However, we would like you to join the ChessTournament WhatsApp group , so we can estimate the number of participants. Furthermore in the group, we are happy to answer any question you might have regarding the tournament.
