Hello, I’m Birk (he/him). I’ve been at the university since winter semester 2018/19 and am studying computer science. I have been in the Master’s programme since SoSe 2024. I have almost always been active in the student council and still am now. For some time I was on the Stura and the Faculty Council. I’ve also been on an appointments committee.
I’m currently active in the student council’s awareness team, which has been an important topic for me for a long time and is now also getting more attention in the student council. Otherwise, I am organising and organised many events, e.g. the Faculty Festival 2024, various Christmas lectures, first-year events, etc.
Time and again, I also try to enrich students’ lives with small improvements. The latest is the bench on the campus meadow, which is currently being trialled there. I am also currently (when I find more time) organising large monitors for the PC pool in building 76 to facilitate group work.
Outside of the student council/university, I enjoy being out in nature and am involved in scout work.
